Stay Active at Home

2020 has been a tough year, when gyms were closed for more than half of the year due to the Pandemic, it became vital for all of us to stay active at home and depend less on heavy gym equipment.

Backyard HIIT Session

A quick HIIT session that targets all major muscle groups and also raises the heart rate!!! All you need is enough space to do burpees and some lunges. Do 3-4 rounds or time it to 20 mins

Stair Jumps

This is the equivalent to box jumps - all you need is 2-3 steps high stirs and you are good to go

Shoulder Lateral Raises

workout your shoulders using milk cartons - NO EXCUSE!!!

Biceps Curls

You can curl your biceps even if you don't have a barbell or dumbbells at home. all you need is a resistance band (select the most appropriate resistance based on your strength level) and an anchor that can hook your band to a solid base and yo have yourself an arm workout station!

Cable Rows

Cable Rows using resistance bands - anchor your bands to a stable base and burn those lats!

Cable Flyes

No need to have a heavy cable station - with resistance bands, you can work out your chest just like you used to do at the gym

Spider Flyes

Similar to chest flyes, with resistance bands, Spider flyes can be performed to hit the lower chest

School Bags Hip Thrusters

One of the best HIP exercises can not be missed at home, just need some bags (I used my kids' school bags) and a couch and you can thrust those hips just like you did at the gym
